Look for suspect wielding pepper spray in Turlock – CBS Sacramento


TURLOCK (CBS13) – Authorities are trying to locate the man suspected of using pepper spray on people and workers at Turlock stores.

Turlock Police said there had been at least four incidents in the past month related to the suspect.

The most recent incident happened Monday morning at the Grocery Outlet along W. Main Street. This time the suspect had two large breed dogs with him and he reportedly got annoyed when told he had to buy a plastic bag.

It was at this point that police said the suspect had brandished pepper spray at the employees. No one was sprayed this time, however, before he left.

An earlier incident on October 5 at a store along the 2100 block of Fulkerth Road ended with an employee receiving pepper spray as he went to confront the suspect as he apparently attempted to rob A bike.

Additionally, police said the man was suspected of spraying pepper on a homeless man who was outside a store along the 1800 block of Countryside Drive also on October 5.
