Meghan Markle Wears Celine Statement Jacket for Invictus Games Competitions

After switching an all-white power suit at Invictus Games opening reception yesterday – Valentino says What Meghan wore– The Duchess of Sussex went relaxed for the first full day of competition in The Hague, Netherlands.

Veteran royal journalist Omid Scobie said Meghan and husband Prince Harry were at the Jaguar and Land Rover Driving Challenge event, the first medal event of the Invictus Games, which *spoiler alert* France finally won. “The challenge is designed to test skill, accuracy, navigational ability, observation and teamwork,” he tweeted.

For today’s competition, Meghan went casual – but make it glam – in a pair of cuffed jeans and a beloved collarless navy jacket with gold buttons, which Susan Courter, founding editor of What Meghan Wore, said Marie Claire is from Celine. Her two-tone ballet flats are by Chanel, Courter says, and her aviator sunglasses are by Linda Farrow. Her black handbag with a gold strap is also from Celine, Courter says. She also said Marie Claire that Meghan’s longtime makeup artist Daniel Martin is on hand to do her glam, and that hairstylist George Northwood is also in The Hague (today he created the perfect ponytail for Meghan).

The look receives praise from royal watchers, with the To express quoting fans on social media saying the Duchess looked “perfect”, “incredibly gorgeous”, “perfection” and – a personal favorite – “She is absolutely gorgeous. Drink water and take care of his business pays very well.

It is the first time the Invictus Games have been held since 2018. Harry is the founding patron of the games, an international athletic competition for injured veterans and service members.
