Each mouth-blown cup is completely unique, so if you go for a pair like Schwartz, they’ll be charming and mismatched. Schwartz says the thick glass keeps your water cool and “the blobby shape makes them easy to grip, like a sippy cup.”

Sure, Candace Bushnell can’t live without Manolo Blahnik mules and Belvedere vodka, but who’d guess those poop bags were such a must-have? Bushnell’s two Standard Poodles, Pepper and Prancer, go out five times a day (and use a ton of bags), so she likes that they’re biodegradable. It might also explain why she says “rolls end up everywhere – in all my pockets and bags”.

Dylan Raasch, musician and creative director of Nike Air Max, told us about his love for slim Muji notebooks, Sharpie markers and that incense from Korea that made him think he was visiting a past life. Raasch immediately bonded with the smell – so much so that he actually eat this. He explains that the market vendor encouraged him to take a bite of incense (and also took some himself) to prove how pure he was. Raasch was surprised to find that he liked the taste: “a bit bitter, but it almost tasted like ground flowers, very earthy”. Memorable experience aside, Raasch credits the scent with putting him in a meditative state.
In the latest Auntie Approved, director Kulap Vilaysack tested pajamas from strategist-favorite linen sheet brand Morrow Soft Goods. Vilaysack loved the feeling of being “bathed in soft linen” and took her smart shorts and shirt to dinner, where she was complimented by a “trendy hostess” and “young people”. She praises the effectiveness of the nightwear outfit: “I like the idea of being able to sleep, shop, go back to sleep.”
When David Blaine doesn’t do magic for her, you can find Quinta Brunson using her favorite things, which include African Shea Butter, a deep conditioning hair mask, and this Cloud Paint (which we’re also big fans of). Brunson carries it with her all the time and loves that the app only requires the swipe of a finger. She uses the pigment as eyeshadow and blush to add a pop of color that “can take you from looking dead to alive.”
